Workshop 4

European Interns’ Day: Digital Solutions for Youth Unemployment

What digital solutions for youth unemployment? After the success of the event organized in the European Parliament on 18th July 2014, with among other Androulla Vassiliou, Commissioner for Education, Culture, Multilingualism and Youth at the European Commission, the aim of the workshop is to explore what digital solutions can be developed in order to foster youth employment. We want to go beyond usual broad principles such as “young people should be trained in digital technologies from an early age” to explore, with the audience, the concrete digital tools, app and practical solutions that could help young people finding a job.
By combining people, technology and creative thinking, we aim at finding the most innovative solutions to one of society’s most pressing problems.
